The corner plot with a longer face on the east-west allowed us for a design that invested in its orientation. Brick and its rustiness were the main palette with terraces edging the north and the east. The house, a four-bed unit encashed on the thought of lightness and had the plan evolved as per the cardinal points prescribed by Vaastu. The connectors like the staircase bask in the skylight and are detailed in a manner to elaborate the intent. The brick jalis on the façade were for the layered approach to bring in a specific detail of enclosure at the terraces.
