Relatively, having to build less on a plot of 1200 square feet allowed us to have a play of terraces on the east. The terrace in turn allowed us to bring in that playfulness having a connect between the first and second floor. A skylight strategically placed in the core of the design allowed one to relax at the window seater with built in furniture relating to the light that poured in. Being a three-bed house, the design in its verticality holds the central courtyard elaborating all that one could possibly orient to. This dialogue further demanded a detail like the cantilevered stair.
