The means of bringing an effective courtyard and an implementation of easy vertical access by an elevator influenced us to bring exclusivity to the position of Master Bed. Thus, in a way, it was “a home within a home”, something very much desired by the client. The public zone with the courtyard on the ground, had the private areas on the upper levels. The plan thus evolved had the master bedroom to be accessed through an open-to-sky garden area on the first floor. The layering of the required screening served the purpose of both security and the play of shade. This was put at the periphery thus allowing an absolute transparency within the inner spaces of the enclosure. Entertainment areas with a pool was exclusive on the 2nd floor with the associated home theatre and service areas.
