The density of trees in the north influenced the design of the building for that orientation. The Canteen on the ground in turn allowed open seating on the northern side with services taking the southern side. Exclusive areas placed on the first floor allowed for the necessary segregation and played a dual role in conferencing and executive dining. The green orientation for both the common and executive seating was allowed by the double-height openings on the north thus making the trees and their green the prime focus of the space.
